Ademola Yakub

Ademola is a seasoned Banker with over 21 years of cognate experience that spans several financial institutions such as First Bank (FBN), United Bank for Africa (UBA), former Standard Trust Bank (STB), Amalgamated Bank-Ghana, and Ecobank. His Core competencies include Governance Risk and control (GRC), Administration, Investigation, Technical Research, and Business Development.

Prior to his appointment as the Head of Compliance in September 2023, he worked as the Head of Internal Control & Audit, and recently, the Regional Manager, Southwest Region at VG Pensions.

Ademola holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Accounting from the University of Lagos and an MBA from the same University. He is a Fellow (FCA) of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), an Associate Member of the Nigerian Institute of Management (AMNIM), a Member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN), and a Chartered Member of Computer Forensic Institute of Nigeria (CCFI).
