Ugbede Nelson Attah

Mr. Ugbede Nelson Attah is a seasoned investment professional with extensive expertise in fund and portfolio management, securities and commodities trading, and the marketing of diverse financial instruments. He has executed investment banking transactions exceeding US$10 billion across multiple sectors of the Nigerian economy. He currently leads the Lighthouse Group, which comprises Lighthouse Capital Limited, Lighthouse Asset Management Limited, Lighthouse Finance Company Limited, and Lighthouse Registrars Limited.

He also serves as a Non-Executive Director on the boards of Nkuku-Ikong Petroleum Development Company Limited, Handy Capital Limited, Notore Chemical Industries Limited, and 9 Payment Service Bank Limited.

Mr. Attah previously served as Chief Investment Officer at Veritas Glanvills Pensions Limited, managing assets exceeding US$328 million, and as Head of Funds Management at TAK Asset Management, overseeing assets of more than US$2 billion under the TAK Group of Companies. He began his career as an Investment Analyst with Capital Bancorp Plc, managing portfolios for corporate clients and high-net-worth individuals, while also cross-selling financial products across the group.

He holds an MBA from Business School Netherlands and a B.A. in Public Administration from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers (CIS), The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (UK), the Nigerian Institute of Management, and the Commodities Brokers Association of Nigeria (CBAN). He is an authorised dealing clerk on the floor of the Nigerian Stock Exchange, a Sponsored Individual with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), and an Approved Person by the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).
